About this home
My grandfather's house, one street back from the water. The luzzi are moored fifty metres away and the Sunday market sets up along the front from about seven in the morning.
Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen with a proper table in it, and a roof terrace where you can see the harbour over the rooftops. Furnished with what the family had, which means it is comfortable rather than styled.
Sunday is busy and the church bells are close. Monday to Saturday it is one of the quietest villages in the south-east.

The photographs do not oversell it. Quiet at night, hot water at full pressure, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook properly.

Exactly as described, which is rarer than it should be. Check-in took four minutes and the host left a note with the bus numbers we actually needed.
