The enclosed timber balcony — the gallarija — is the reason to take this one. It hangs over a narrow street that drops towards the harbour, and it is where you will end up sitting with a coffee every morning.
Inside is one double bedroom, a living room with a small dining table, and a compact kitchen. The ceilings are high and the walls are thick, so it stays cooler than the air conditioning bill would suggest.
First floor, up one flight of stone stairs, no lift. St Ursula Street is a two-minute walk from Victoria Gate and the Upper Barrakka lift.

The photographs do not oversell it. Quiet at night, hot water at full pressure, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook properly.
