Fewer than three hundred people sleep inside Mdina. After the last coach leaves at about six, the streets empty completely and the city earns its name.
One bedroom, one bathroom, a small kitchen and a sitting room with a window seat looking north across the fields towards Mosta. The furniture is antique and some of it is fragile; this is not a place for a stag party.
No vehicle access to the door — the nearest parking is outside the Main Gate, about four minutes' walk with a bag.

Good value for the location. The building is older but the flat itself has been done properly and the bed is genuinely comfortable.

Air conditioning in every room made August bearable. We would have liked a second bathroom but that is on us for booking a one-bath place.
